Homemade hollowing Tools..
Here is a steel rod rigged up with the tail of a drill bit,
And there a scraping tool with a cutter made from an old saw blade
(drilled with a Titanium drill) or with old HSS plane irons
(fortunately, the hole is already dilled) mounted on a steel rod.

It is made with a piece of concrete-reinforcing steel.

sharpened it like a wood drill bit.
